TODAY (JANUARY,20, 2019) IS THE INITIAL ORDER DEADLINE
In partnership with Bill’s Locker Room, Bailey (Osburn) Yahraus has created a beautiful t-shirt that can be purchased to show your support for Melanie. Proceeds from each shirt will go to the family to help offset costs incurred for her recent cancer diagnosis: Transportation to medical appointments, additional medical and personal supplies not covered by insurance and increased food and supplement costs for her holistic treatment program.
Two color options are available: White and Navy. The image above shows the two options available with the front and back views
The initial order deadline is TODAY, Sunday, January 20th. (See below for future ordering options.) Once ordered online, all orders will not be processed or delivered until after the initial order deadline. (There will be additional opportunities to order after this initial deadline). For those that are not located at Montpelier School, you have an option to ship the shirt to your designated address.

UPCOMING EVENTS FOR MEL
SPECIAL FUNDRAISER. Montpelier Schools, Melanie’s employer for over 28 years, is planning a special fundraiser in February where you will be able to wear your TeamMel t-shirts to show your support. We will be making a special announcement over the next couple of weeks about the date and time of the event that will be held in Montpelier, Ohio. We will have another t-shirt order period to ensure you can purchase a t-shirt for this event if you miss the initial deadline.
WALK WITH MEL. Each Saturday, we will meet at the Meijer Store in Angola, Indiana, at 3pm to walk a lap or two with Melanie. Feel free to join us for 20-30 minutes of encouragement and support while Melanie keeps active as part of her holistic treatment program. If you have purchased a TeamMel T-shirt, feel free to wear the shirt for visible support. Please meet at the Pharmacy entrance (north entrance) of the store.
WEAR YOUR TEAM-MEL T-SHIRT. We will be having several, “TeamMel T-Shirt Days” for anyone who has purchased a TeamMel t-shirt to wear your shirt and snap a photo to share with Melanie on social media. More details to come.

We can’t thank everyone enough for the outpouring of support for our mother. She is such a special human being that has touched each of us in a special way. We are so proud to call her our mother and friend. Along with your tremendous support, we are doing everything we can to help her through this journey as best we can.

I plan to continue to write about this new life journey. It is a tough topic to write about but I feel writing will be a great emotional release for me and could help others along the way going through something similar.
