I am glad you found me! I started this site a year ago when I first began traveling to share my travels with my family and friends. It has grown into a lot more since then.
HOW I STARTED TRAVELING
Over two years ago I was sitting in an office cubicle in the PepsiCo Global Corporate Headquarters close to New York City working about 50-60 hours per week. I had worked in New York on Wall Street, traveled all over the United States as a consultant when I lived in Florida and worked for one of my favorite brands, Gatorade, when I lived in Chicago. I had built quite the resume of finance, consulting, and strategy experience. People often ask me why I left my New York City lifestyle to travel the world. The momentum to make the decision to leave my corporate job began long before I actually decided to leave. It was years of build up knowing deep in my gut there was a path for me that was not going into an office each day. I traveled to Bali, Indonesia, in September 2017 and realized there after a yoga session that it was time to pull the trigger. I didn’t know at the time what I wanted to do with my career but I knew there was an overwhelming feeling to be happy with my life. I had figured out my path up until that point and I knew I would figure it out once I left.
WHERE I HAVE BEEN
Visited 57 countries on all seven continents. Visited 48 of the 50 United States. Alaska and New Mexico are the only two left. Traveled 98,000 miles in my first year of traveling nonstop, enough to travel around the world 4 times. Check out my Top 10 destinations of 2018 Antarctica was my favorite destination because of its remoteness and untouched beauty. I’ve jumped in the water in Antarctica! Climbed the world’s longest continuously erupting volcano in Vanuatu Swam with sharks and through shipwrecks in the Philippines Climbed to one of most unique monasteries in the world, Tiger’s Nest, in Bhutan Stood at the base of Mount Everest in Tibet. Had the craziest drive ever from the China-Nepal border to Kathmandu, Nepal, along the Friendship Highway Saw the northern lights in Iceland
